On Wednesday, Lionsgate’s official social media accounts confirmed that all five films in The Twilight Saga will return to theaters this October. The announcement came with a dramatic poster featuring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, along with the tagline:
“Forever Begins Again.”
Although specific dates haven’t been revealed yet, the studio teased more information would arrive on Thursday, writing simply: “Tomorrow.”

The Twilight film franchise, based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novels, follows the passionate — and often dangerous — romance between teenager Bella Swan and vampire Edward Cullen. The saga is made even more complicated by her bond with Jacob Black, a werewolf.
