WWE has added a major singles match to the Clash in Paris event. It will take place on August 31 at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France.
Roman Reigns is now officially set to face Bronson Reed. The announcement came from RAW General Manager Adam Pearce during this week’s show.
Tensions Rise Ahead of Paris Showdown
Over the past few weeks, Reigns and Reed have clashed repeatedly. Their feud took a bizarre turn when Reed stole two pairs of Reigns’ shoes. He mockingly called them his “shoe-la-fala.”
As a result, bad blood has continued to boil between the two. On Monday’s episode of RAW, the situation escalated further. During the Extreme Rules match between Jey Uso and Bron Breakker, Reigns and Reed brawled at ringside. Immediately after, Reed issued a challenge.
Reigns didn’t hesitate. He accepted, making the match official for Clash in Paris.
