Joe Hendry shocked fans at the latest WWE NXT live event in Venice, Florida. The TNA star entered to a huge ovation, proving his popularity is as strong as ever.
How the Appearance Happened
Hendry appeared after Brooks Jensen said his name during the show. Moments later, Hendry attacked Jensen in a quick beatdown. He then announced that he will now appear on NXT. WWE has already confirmed a match between Hendry and Charlie Dempsey for the August 12 episode.

The Scottish star’s surprise comes at an interesting moment. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet after WrestleMania 41, Hendry revealed that his TNA contract ends in 2025. Many believe WWE will try to sign him if possible, despite their current partnership with TNA Wrestling.
