System of a Down is heading back on the road. The legendary alt-metal band just announced a limited stadium tour across North America, kicking off in late August 2025. Each city will feature a different co-headliner, making every show a unique experience for fans.
đïž Tour Dates & Co-Headliners
The tour kicks off August 27th and 28th at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with Korn as the co-headliner. It then moves to Chicagoâs Soldier Field for two shows on August 31st and September 1st, this time featuring Avenged Sevenfold. Finally, the band will wrap up with two shows at Torontoâs Rogers Stadium on September 3rd and 5th, joined by Deftones.
Opening acts for all dates include Polyphia and Wisp.
đž Still No New Album, But Live Shows Are Stronger Than Ever
Although it’s been nearly 20 years since their last album (Hypnotize, 2005), System of a Down continues to attract massive crowds with marathon live sets. Their concerts earlier this year in South America were packed with fans and packed with hitsâoften exceeding 30 songs per night.
Meanwhile, members of the band have stayed creatively active:
- Serj Tankian recently announced a solo album, Covers, Collaborations & Collages.
- Daron Malakian released Addicted to the Violence with his project Scars on Broadway.
